Staff CPD (continuous professional development) is an important part of a tutors role.
Training allows us to be current and up to date in the industry on a variety of techniques, terminology as well as procedures.
Katie, our beauty tutor has recently completed a new Barbicide workshop.
Katie’s training and exam covered a variety of points regarding sterilisation, disinfection in addition to cleaning our tools.

We use Barbicide in our salon and change the liquid regularly in line with current standards. Our tutors use the disinfectant on our training courses and explain the uses throughout our theory training.
Our tutors will have this up to date training in August and we will be including this into our NVQ Level 2 and 3 Beauty as well as hairdressing classes.
