Professional Beauty Show Excel 2023

It was a return of the Professional Beauty Show Excel 2023 this weekend. After a heavy professional beauty awards night I attended the event with an extremely large hangover.

Driving into Excel and parking which is now £25 per day! I grabbed myself a coffee and headed straight for the halls. Taking a quick look around first asked allows me to see what I want to spend more time looking at a networking.

I knew a couple of people having stands at the show this year, so I made sure I went to visit them.

There were two new areas at the exhibition which were Chinese wholesalers and South African suppliers. I had a little nose around and found some really interesting products but found this quite repetitive for the whole section.

I love going to the show because the buzz is amazing. People really seem to enjoy themselves and I love looking at all the products. This year was no different with a really heavily dominated machine industry. If you’re looking to buy new machine is definitely a place to go.

Live Talks

I went over to the VTCT stand where Sarah Artistry was launching a new sheet masks for her brand. I met Sarah last night at the Professional Beauty Awards as another guest of Sarah, who nominated. After the demonstration of lymphatic drainage, she launched the sheet masks and a demonstration of how to use them on yourself. It was a really informative talk and I can’t wait to try my sheet mask tonight at home. Whilst curing my hangover.

I purchased the new Hypo 21 healing spray for the salon and to retail which I’ve taken home tonight. My daughter has fallen over at school and grazed her knees. I’ll be updating some before and after pictures on social media.

I’ve purchased some new salon uniform called funky scrubs, with an exclusive show offer. These will be delivered to me in two weeks. I have noticed a lot of the exhibitors do not bring stock anymore, and you can order with demonstration products to look at and your order will be delivered to you with an exclusive discount given if you order at the show. I’m not sure that I prefer this method as I like to take items away with me but saves a lot of storage for the supplies.

Overall, I’ve got a lot of business cards, done some good networking, met some great people and bought a few goodies along the way.

I highly recommend that you go to a show to experience the atmosphere, even if you just browse.

As always, Glitterbells Pink Unicorn made an appearance.
